This club night was the last before our new gaming structure, with an extra meeting each month, comes into effect and was a great example of our open gaming nights.
Rich J got an irregular WWII Pacific campaign underway whilst James dug out his copy of Crimson Skies and the rest of us got in some practice games of Blood-Bowl Sevens for the upcoming campaign league. Twelve gamers rolling out three very different games with a few cups of tea and a bag of doughnuts. Winner :)
Feel free to give us a game whenever you get the chance!
Enfield Gamers has been running for just over a year now and we’ve been asking gamers how they think the club can be improved. The clear consensus is that people want MORE.
From September, Enfield Gamers will be going from its current two nights a month format to a brand new and very exciting three nights a month format. We will be meeting on the SECOND, THIRD and FOURTH Tuesday of every month.
The break down will be as follows:
If you’re ever unsure what week it is, check out the club calendar (also accessible from the left-hand column). Our next big campaigns, starting in September, will be Blood Bowl 7s run by Ian and Warhammer Quest run by Shadoblade. People are, of course, still free to play whatever and whenever they like!
To celebrate our first year of gaming, here’s some photo highlights:
See you all soon!
Howdy sports-fans,
Following on from Jon’s highly populous Uncharted Seas campaign the club has spoken and voted for Ian to run a Blood-Bowel Sevens league as our next main event.
Having previously run a one day BB Sevens tournament we heartily recommend this fast paced variant of the 11 man game. A game can be played in 60 minutes allowing for multiple league rounds to take place each club night. Starting from the little leagues you’ll be reliant on developing your own star players rather than buying in big names. Manage them carefully though or the big leagues will try and tempt them away!
Kick and chase on through to the forums for more info and to sign up!
The club has also decided, with regular attendance on the rise, to add a third club meeting to each month.
From September the club will meet every Second, Third and Fourth Tuesday of each month. On the Second and Fourth Tuesday the main campaign will feature, though please feel free to organise any other games you fancy. The third Tuesday of the month will feature open gaming, so there’s always the chance to try out that new ruleset or crank out a classic.
To keep things simple, specific threads will continue to be set up in the Organised Games section of the Forum for each club night.

Whilst playing Blood Bowl 7s, I had a chance to take a few team photos. As you can tell, we are a relaxed bunch when it comes to non-standard models. If it looks good then who cares?
Personally, I blame my dice!
