To kick off the new decade in style the club will be holding a very full day of gaming. Anyone is welcome to take part or simply drop by to take a gander.
Running from 9 til 9 the day will feature THREE main events:
Our very own Shadoblade (aka Rich C) will be running an all-day 5 player a side 40K Apocalypse battle of quite epic proportions.
Played across multiple tables the battle will feature 80’000 points of troops with almost every race in the 40K universe getting involved.
An excellent opportunity to see a full Warhammer 40’000 fought the way that they should be!
All ten places have now been taken for this epic fire-fight but do feel free to drop by to take a look. We will also have a few spare tables available for bring and battle games so drop us a line, contact details below, to book a space.
Steve F will be running the PEWC Cup, our inaugural Blood-Bowl Sevens competition which is open to all. The cup will be run using a league format with bonus points scored for Touchdowns scored and casualties caused.
Coaches have a budget of 600’000 GP to spend with the following restrictions:
1. A maximum of 10 players per team
2. Fan Factor costs 20’000 GP per point
3. Maximum of one team re-roll
4. No assistant coaches, cheerleaders cost 50’000 GP
5. No star players even as freebooters
The Cup will run from 9:30 til 4:30 with an entry fee of £5.
Teas and coffees will be available throughout the day along with a limited supply of doughnuts for those quick enough to get to them. Otherwise please feel free to bring your own supplies or take advantage of the many local shops, cafes and restaurants.
To round out the day Rich J will be running a large multiplayer participation Napoleonic game.
Featuring Warlord Games’ newly released Black Powder rules the game will run in 10mm with all figures provided from Rich and Shaun’s extensive personal collections. Cheers guys!
For many of us this will our first run out with the rules so if you’re interested in taking part feel free to get in touch, contact details below, to book a place.
Everything will be provided in terms of scenery, dice and play sheets. All you need to provide is a £5 entry fee to help cover our hire costs.
