Blood Bowl 7s: The Results

Blood Bowl 7s proved to be a lot of fun. We’re all veteran Blood Bowl players and the new spin gave rise to new challenges. The lack of re-rolls certainly led to more than a few swear words being directed at the dice!

Gutter Runners proved particularly nasty on such a small pitch.

This is me. This is me with my head in my hands. Five of my weedy elfs decided that it was too hot and refused to take to the pitch (yes, I rolled five 1s out of 7 dice for Sweltering Heat). The remaining two players didn't fare so well.

The format of the tournament was two conferences of four teams chosen at random. After playing each team in their conference, the two matching teams for conferences were matched up for the final all-deciding game. And the final result was…. *drum roll*….

1st. Andrew B (Skaven)
2nd. Andrew C (Humans)
3rd. Ian (Norse)
4th. Rob (Chaos)
5th. Charlie (Skaven)
6th. Steve (Humans)
7th. Aaron (Pro Elfs)
8th. Undead Jon (Undead)

Congratulations to everyone who took part. The competition was fierce (mostly for last place!).

Beam Me Up, Scotty!

The 20th anniversary edition of Space Hulk is out and it’s fantastic. To mark the occasion, we decided to have a massive eight-player game across three boards!

The scenario involved Terminators from both the Blood Angels and Space Wolves chapters. Their mission was to contact a unit of Space Marines trapped deep within the bowels of the space hulk and teleport them out to safety. Did they manage it? Read on…

The game was played across three boards - two new sets and one of the origianls.
