HBO (the guys that did Band of Brothers) are releasing a new series in March next year which follows a group of US Marines through the war … the trailers look awesome and the club are embarking on a campaign in readiness for the series!
We will be gaming in 15mm for the land action using the World at War rules and Pacific supplement from Agis and Mongoose publications. Check for forums and the campaign blog http://pacifc44.blogspot.com/ for more details of how you can get in on the action.
Some of the troops, scenery and the rules will be on display as a participation game at Games Fest (there will be an ongoing competition to see if any participating bod can ‘raise the flag’ . Hope to see you there!
