The Spice of Life

The third Tuesday of every month is usually reserved for one-off games. Tonight’s excitement included…

It's not as cold as it looks down the club.

A dragon rampages around Carcassonne.

US forces storm the jungle.

... but the Japanese hold firm.

If you like map tiles and counters, Munchkin Quest is the game for you!

Jon has venomous flying crabs.

Thankfully, Rob isn't doing much better!

Next week we’ll be back to the delights of Ian’s Blood Bowl league and Shadoblade’s Warhammer Quest campaign.

Banzai

This week there was a breakout of the dreaded “have to work late” amongst the Blood Bowl players so rather than leave them to make up games the rest of us had a “no-brainer” night with ZOMBIES!!

Elsewhere the Warhammer Quest boys picked thier campaign back up whilst Rich and Shaun ran through the final draft of the new edition of FUBAR. The entire rules fit on one side of A4 and are entirely FREE.

Next week the club will be hosting a multiplayer Pacific game, as part of this month’s open gaming night, with plenty of spare figures available so I you want to try them out then sign up on the forums!

BANZAI!!!

It's a long road for Warhammer Quest!

Rob set the back-stab tone early doors!

Town Planning for Zombies 101

USMC set to make thier assault on the Emperor's finest

Le'me hear a "HU-A Sar-gent!!"

Over-run the airstrip to capture the grounded Zero

Let’s Play Some Blood Bowl!

This week: Blood Bowl and tiny, tiny Stargate.

Double skulls!

Andrew gets half his team pushed off the pitch.

10mm (or 15mm?) Stargate in action.

See you all on Tuesday 9th November!

Multi-tasking

With this Tuesday’s Club meeting be Open Gaming a number of classics made it onto the tabletop;

A new Orc team, Gorkz Rampagerz, joined the Blodd Bowl 7s league and gave the undefeated Amazons thier closest game yet without quite managing to put one over on them. Steve broke out his fully painted Space-Hulk set for the first time, the ‘Stealers had a good night, whilst Rich and Malk tried out some new fleet compositions for Uncharted Seas.

But the game of the night was Jon’s Pulp City set-up. As you can see the amount of work he’s put into  the scenery is scarily awesome. Most of those buildings have fully detailed interiors don’t you know and his paint-job’s have always been top drawer.

If you want to take a closer look then drop us a line or just roll on in!

Space-Hulk: incoming to a system near you!

Game Over Man, Game Over!

The Amazon display team takes on the new guys

Out of the blue - Uncharted Seas returns

ApeBot on the Rampage

Welcome to Pulp City home of the Super-Hero

Free-Scoring Tuesday

Our Blood Bowl regular season has nearly reached the halfway stage. Here’s some photos from tonight’s action, sports fans…

Let's play some Blood Bowl!

Rob's Rats fail to throw the ball.

The Lustria derby resulted in much symmetry.

Rob's Rats fail to pick up the ball.

Martel Meatbag have the ball but can they score with movement 4?

No amount of "touch of death" is going to help the Braz-har Fjord Bulls against The Dancing Queens.

Just a quick reminder that it’s casual (aka disorganised) gaming night next Tuesday. I’ve heard talk of both Space Hulk and Pulp City in the pipeline.
